LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Four different Lady Rebels scored in double-figures as the UNLV Lady Rebels cruised past Southern Nazarene, 78-41, in an exhibition contest Wednesday night at The Pavilion.

The Scarlet & Gray were led by
Meadow Roland's double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Roland was 7-for-10 from the field and was 1-for-2 from the charity stripe.
Shelbee Brown collected 14 points by shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and was 2-for-3 from the free throw line.
Teagan Colvin put up 12 points and dished a team-high six assists.
Destiny Brown brought down a team-high 16 rebounds (six offensive, 10 defensive) and did not miss one shot she took for eight points.
Destiny Brown also led in blocks with four on the night.

The Storm was led by Jordan Hoffman who had nine points. Nessa Begay was the leading rebounder for Southern Nazarene with six.

FIRST QUARTER RUN: After exchanging baskets for the first four minutes of play, the Lady Rebels closed out the first quarter going on a 17-4 run to make it 21-9 and never looked back. UNLV scored 15 straight points during the 17-4 run.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Lady Rebels dominated the paint scoring 48 of their 78 points in the paint. UNLV only allowed Southern Nazarene to score 16 paint points.

- Aaliyah Alexander had 11 points and six rebounds against the Storm.
- UNLV out-rebounded Southern Nazarene, 54-35.
- The Lady Rebels had 11 steals compared to the Storm's eight.
- UNLV had 17 fast break points, while Southern Nazarene did not score on a fast break.
- The Lady Rebels had 27 second chance points.
- The four-time defending Mountain West regular season champs are predicted to win the league title in the preseason polls.
- Aaliyah Alexander and Meadow Roland were named to the Preseason All-MW team.
- Destiny Leo is on the 20-member Ann Meyers Drysdale preseason watch list.
- Head coach Lindy La Rocque is on the 2026 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year award for the third straight season.
