LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — The UNLV men's soccer team picked up a shutout and draw vs. Utah Tech in the WAC opener Saturday night at Peter Johann Memorial Field.

The result against the Trailblazers (1-5-4, 0-0-1 WAC) gave the Rebels (3-4-3, 0-0-1 WAC) and junior goalkeeper Hugo Lemos their second straight clean sheet and fourth of the season. 

Additionally, the stingy Scarlet & Gray backline only allowed two Utah Tech shots on goal to tie for the fewest targets given up on the year. This marked the second consecutive match and third time this season the Rebels held opponents to that same total.
