LOS ANGELES (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's and women's diving teams earned a top-10 finish on Friday's second day of the USC Trojan Diving Invitational at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Leading the Rebels for a second straight day was freshman Evan Stingley. In the platform competition, he dove to a ninth-place finish with an overall score of 585.10.
- In his first appearance on platform this year, sophomore Ronan Robinson dove to a score of 223.45 during prelims.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Sophomore Allyse Abbott earned an 11th-place finish on the 3-meter springboard, posting an overall score of 458.85.
- Also competing in the 3-meter event, junior Chelsey Dorosh placed 14th with an overall score of 454.35.
UP NEXT: The diving competition will conclude Sunday with the men's 1-meter and women's platform competitions.
