Meadow Roland collected her third double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Roland additionally blocked five shots, which tied her career-high. Shelbee Brown had eight points and nine rebounds, while she led the Lady Rebels in assists with four and three steals.

FOURTH QUARTER CRAZE: The Lady Rebels trailed only by three heading into the final 10 minutes of play. UNLV cut the deficit to one, 41-40, after Roland sank a layup. UNLV and ASU exchanged baskets before Roland hit a huge three-pointer to tie the game 50-all. The Sun Devils scored a three of their own to go back up by 53-50. However, the Lady Rebels answered back  on a Lott three that tied the game at 53-all with 1:51 left to play. ASU then called a timeout with 14 seconds left in the game and after the break, the Sun Devils nearly lost the ball, but threw up a hail mary basket with four seconds left and the ball sank before a shot clock violation to go ahead 56-53.
