LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Five different Lady Rebels scored in double-digits as the UNLV women's basketball team defeated DePaul 85-78 on Sunday at The Pavilion.

Meadow Roland led UNLV (2-0) with her second career double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds, only one rebound shy from tying her career high. Roland additionally led the squad in blocked shots with a career-high five on the day.
Aaliyah Alexander had her second straight game with 18 points, while
Jasmyn Lott collected 12 points.
Destiny Leo recorded her first double-figure game in an UNLV uniform, putting up 11 points and draining two three-pointers.
Shelbee Brown was the second Lady Rebel to collect a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds. Brown also led the squad in steals with five.

DePaul (1-1) was led by Kate Novik's 20 points and Natiah Nelson's 17 points. Michelle Ojo was the leading rebounder for the Blue Demons bringing down seven boards.

TURNING POINT: UNLV held a four-point lead going into the break, 40-36, but DePaul was able to cut the deficit to one, 48-47, with 6:23 left in the third quarter. The Lady Rebels and Blue Demons were then tied 53-all with under three minutes to go in the third, before UNLV scored 10 straight points to go up by 10 and made it 63-53. DePaul was unable to put together a scoring run, and in the final quarter of play the Lady Rebels scored five straight points which included a huge three-point basket by
Mariah Elohim with less than 30 seconds to go to hold onto the seven-point victory.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Lady Rebels and Blue Demons exchanged the lead 11 times and were tied nine times throughout the game.

OTHER NOTES:
- Shelbee Browns' double-double is the first in a Lady Rebel uniform and 12th of her career.
- Alexander led UNLV with three assists.
- UNLV won the paint, scoring 50 of its 85 points under the basket.
- The Lady Rebels' bench out-scored the Blue Demons' bench 18-13.
- UNLV shot 84.6 (22-for-26) percent from the charity stripe.
- Â UNLV now holds the all-time record 3-2 over DePaul.
