Jasmyn Lott led the UNLV women's basketball team with a career-high 21 points as the Lady Rebels defeated UTSA 66-39 on Wednesday evening at the Convocation Center. The Scarlet & Gray (5-3) still lead the overall series against the Roadrunners 5-2.

Lott shot 9-for-15 from the field and 3-for-6 from long range, which included two huge back-to-back threes in the fourth quarter. Additionally, Lott had an assist and a blocked shot.Â
Aaliyah Alexander was the second-leading scorer on the squad with 10 points.
Meadow Roland had a team-high 14 rebounds, dished four assists and three blocked shots.
Shelbee Brown was big for the Lady Rebels in the paint bringing down 10 rebounds which included five offensive and five defensive. Brown additionally had a team-high three steals on the night.

The Roadrunners (3-4) were led by Cheyenne Rowe and Damara Allen. Rowe put up a team-high nine points and Allen had seven points on the night. Rowe additionally had a team-high eight rebounds.

HOT START: The Lady Rebels came out firing and went on a 13-0 run to start the game. UNLV was able to hold UTSA to just two points in the first quarter. The Lady Rebels then scored seven straight points to close out the fourth quarter to hold a 20-2 lead and never looked back.

Lindy La Rocque said: "We talked all week about our team being road tough, and I thought we did a great job coming out from the jump with great intention and purpose of executing our game plan, playing physical, hard-nosed basketball. So that we could put ourselves in a position to win."

- UNLV only allowed UTSA to score eight points in the third.
- The Lady Rebels tied their season-high of 18 assists.
- UNLV forced 13 UTSA turnovers and scored 12 points off them.
- The Lady Rebels' bench out-scored the Roadrunners' bench 20-13.
- UNLV out-shot UTSA 40.3% (27-for-67) to 27.9% (17-for-61).
- The Lady Rebels have now won three straight games and have won their first road game.
