LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's swimming and diving team will look to capture its fifth straight WAC Championship this week at CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas, from Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 26-March 1.
For each day of competition, prelims will begin at 8:30 a.m. PT, while the finals are set to start at 4 p.m. PT.
Fans can follow the action via the swimming and diving live result links, as well as the WACInternational.tv broadcasts for prelims and the finals broadcast on ESPN+ with a paid subscription or WACinternational.tv for international viewers.
REBELS LEADING THE WAC: The Rebel men have six WAC-leading times this season, headlined by senior Daniel Nicusan in the 100 breast (52.11), 200 breast (1:53.65) and in the 200 IM (1:45.12). Also adding conference-best times are sophomore Tatsuki Inoue in the 200 back (1:43.89) and junior Ian Belflower in the 200 fly (1:44.71). Additionally, the 200 medley relay squad of sophomore Wikus Potgieter, senior Adnan Beji, redshirt freshman Emil Perez and Nicusan has posted this season's current conference-best time of 1:25.61.
DIVING SEASON LEADERS: Leading the Rebel men divers are sophomore Alex Vazquez and senior Dima Tereshchenko. Vazquez has team-best scores in the 1-meter (372.75) and in the 3-meter (453.95) dives, while Tereshchenko has a team-best score on platform (355.65).
