Divers Complete Day Two Of NCAA Zone Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's and women's diving teams completed their second day of the NCAA Zone E Diving Championship Tuesday at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Continuing his strong week, sophomore Alex Vazquez reached the 3-meter competition finals, posting a score of 666.05 to place 13th overall.
- Senior Dima Tereshchenko earned a score of 290.75 to place 23rd during prelims.

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Posting a career-best zone finish on platform, sophomore Chelsey Dorosh dove to a score of 212.55 to place 20th overall.
- Senior Vika Yanovska posted a score of 183.70 to place 31st during prelims.
- Freshman Allyse Abbott made her first zone appearance on platform, finishing 33rd with a score of 177.75 in prelims.

UP NEXT: The NCAA Zone E Diving Championships will conclude Wednesday with prelims starting at 11:30 a.m. PT.
