LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV swimming senior Daniel Nicusan has qualified for the 2025 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be hosted by Washington State at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center from March 26-29.
Originally from Targu Mures, Romania, Nicusan will make his first national championship appearance. He earned his qualifying mark in the 100 breast (51.58) and will also compete in the 200 breast (1:53.15) and the 200 IM (1:43.96) at the meet.
At this year's WAC Championships, he led the Rebels to their fifth-consecutive WAC Championship, earning four gold medals which included breaking two WAC records in the 100 breast and 200 breast.
