In the bottom half of the second, the Rams countered with a three-run home run to make it 3-1 in favor of CSU. UNLV answered back in the top of the third inning, tying the game 3-all thanks to a two-run home run by Aki over the left field wall. UNLV held CSU off the board in the bottom of the third. In the top of the fourth, the Rebels went back ahead 5-3, on a two-run single up the middle by Karmyna Becerra.
