LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's golf senior
Caden Fioroni and sophomore
Zach Little were named to the PING All-West Region team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Saturday. This marks Fioroni's fourth career all-region honor and Little's first career selection to the list.
A San Diego native, Fioroni leads the Rebels in scoring average (70.33) and top-10 finishes with six. The 17th ranked player in the PGA Tour University standings picked up his first career collegiate victory at the Rebels' own Southern Highlands Collegiate and collected two second-place finishes, including his recent performance at the NCAA Urbana Regional. Additionally, Fioroni tallied a season-low 11-under (205) in 54 holes at SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational and has shot a season-low round of 5-under 67 on four occasions.
Hailing from Croxley Green, England, Little sits second among all Rebels in scoring average (70.97) and top-10 finishes with four. In his first year at UNLV, he claimed his first career collegiate win at Hawai'i's John A. Burns Intercollegiate and finished third at the Mountain West Championship. His best performances on the year include 54-hole scores of 11-under at the Burns Intercollegiate (par-70 course) and SMU's event (par-72 course) to go along with a single-round low of 8-under 64 twice.
Together, the pair has guided the Scarlet & Gray to the NCAA Championships, nine top-6 team performances and wins at the Trinity Forest Invitational and the Burns Intercollegiate during the 2024-25 campaign.
The Rebel duo is among 26 honorees in the West Region. Players across six regions garnered all-region accolades.
