LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV volleyball redshirt sophomore Jaida Harris has been named the Raising Cane's Outstanding Rebel of the Week, the school announced Thursday.

The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition from Monday through Sunday as voted on by the UNLV Athletics Strategic Communications department.

A Las Vegas native out of Lake Mead Christian Academy, Harris was named to the Santa Clara Mission Classic All-Tournament Team after leading UNLV to wins over California Baptist and Santa Clara. Over the two matches, she accounted for 30 kills, 14 digs, seven service aces and averaged a .320 hitting percentage.

In a sweep over CBU, she registered a season-high 18 kills along with six digs, three service aces and a .417 clip. Against Santa Clara, Harris collected her third double-digit kill performance of the season with 12 kills, while posting eight digs and four service aces.
