Jackson Arnold has earned Honorable Mention Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week, organizers announced Tuesday.
This time around, Arnold (Denton, Texas) threw three touchdowns and rushed for two more in powering the Rebels to a 39-31 win over Cal from the ACC.
Arnold, who transferred to UNLV from Auburn, was named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after his five-TD effort. He now leads the league with 13 TDs responsible for, ranks second in pass efficiency and passing scores (8), third in rushing TDs (5), third in passing (212.6 YPR) and ninth in rushing (54.4 YPG).
The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award recognizes the top offensive players in the nation who either played at and graduated from a Texas high school or is currently playing at a Division One school in the Lone Star State. Arnold starred at Denton's Guyer High School before signing with Oklahoma to begin his career.
