LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The 2025 UNLV football team not only set multiple records on the field en route to a top-seeded regular-season conference finish and bowl game appearance, but also posted another record in the classroom as 42 players were announced as earning Academic All-Mountain West recognition on Wednesday.
The total surpassed the 40 honorees from the previous season for the most in any non-COVID campaign. To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-MW Team, student-athletes must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, while competing in 50 percent of their team's completed contests.
