LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Lady Rebels are ready for a road battle with San Diego State on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. This marks the second meeting between the two programs this season.
ABOUT SAN DIEGO STATE: UNLV is 42-31 all-time against San Diego State. In the first meeting this season, the Lady Rebels and Aztecs battled for the first-place spot on Jan. 17 at The Pavilion, but San Diego State came away with a 75-66 victory in overtime. The Aztecs head into Wednesday's contest with a 20-4 overall record and a 14-1 MW record. They are coming off a 78-64 victory over UNR. San Diego State has two players in double-figures and are led by Naomi Panganiban's 13.3 points per game. Kennedy Lee is the leading rebounder for SDSU with 5.2 boards per game.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: The UNLV Lady Rebels defeated Grand Canyon 74-65 on Saturday afternoon at The Pavilion.
Meadow Roland recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 27 points and a season-high 15 rebounds. She shot 10-for-22 from the field, made one three and was 6-for-7 from the charity stripe.
Destiny Leo was the second-leading scorer with 14 points, by shooting 5-for-9 from the field and 4-for-8 from long range.
Shelbee Brown collected 11 points on the day against the Lopes.
SQUAD LEADERS: Meadow Roland leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 14.5 and in made field goals with 5.5 per game; Roland is the second-leading rebounder bringing down 9.4 boards per game.
Jasmyn Lott is second on the team with 12.6 points per game.
Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 3.6. Alexander is fourth on the squad with 10.1 points per game.
Shelbee Brown leads the squad in rebounds with 9.7 per game and is third in points per game with 11.1.
NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: The Lady Rebels wrapped up non-conference play with a 5-5 overall record. UNLV's wins came against Washington State, DePaul, Creighton in the rematch of the 2023 NCAA First round, Northern Iowa and UTSA.
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league's Coach of the Year in
Lindy La Rocque and Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year for the second straight year with
Meadow Roland.
