LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The 2026-27 UNLV women's basketball non-conference schedule has been unveiled, Lady Rebels' head coach
Lindy La Rocque, who enters her seventh season at the helm, announced today. The Scarlet & Gray will play a dominant 13-game non-conference schedule which includes the Hall of Fame Series Women's Showcase game at T-Mobile Arena, the annual UNLV Turkey tip-off, marquee home games against Arizona State and Cincinnati and a cross country trip to visit UConn and Boston. The non-conference opponents hail from eight different conferences.
"This may be the toughest non-conference schedule to date for us. I'm excited for this young group to get battle tested and ready for conference play," said La Rocque. "We will continue to put our team under the brightest lights - against championship opponents - on the national stage, to showcase our program and elevate our brand."
The Lady Rebels will play an exhibition contest hosting Cal State Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 27 before officially opening the season playing USC on Monday, November 2 in the Hall of Fame Women's Showcase game at T-Mobile Arena. The Opening Night showcase will feature two marquee men's matchups, with Arizona taking on UCLA and Gonzaga facing Purdue. On the women's side, Arizona and Stanford will round out the four-team women's slate.
UNLV will start the season with a seven-game homestand in November, first hosting UTSA on Friday, November 6 at the Pavilion. The Lady Rebels will then host Arizona State in a Tuesday evening matchup on November 10. Montana State will come to town on Sunday, November 15 before the Scarlet & Gray will face Rice on Tuesday, November 17. UNLV will then welcome Cincinnati to the Pavilion on Saturday, November 21. The Lady Rebels will close out the month of November with their annual Turkey tip-off at Thomas & Mack Center as Butler, LMU and Oral Roberts come to town. UNLV will first play LMU on Wednesday, November 25 and then play Butler on Friday, November 27.
Following the Thanksgiving holiday, the Lady Rebels will take their first road trip heading to the East Coast. The Scarlet & Gray will begin the East Coast trip visiting UConn on Wednesday, December 2. UNLV will then play at Boston on Saturday, December 5 to close out the road trip. The Lady Rebels return home to host UC Santa Barbara at Lee's Family Forum on Sunday, December 13. UNLV will take another road trip, heading to the Pacific Northwest and play Washington State on Wednesday, December 16. The Scarlet & Gray will close out the non-conference slate at home against Vanguard on Sunday, December 16.
