In the 3-meter dive finals, freshman Evan Stingley earned a fourth-place finish with the fourth-best score in program history (352.70).
QUOTABLE: "Night one is always just dipping your toes in the water. There's a lot of racing left in the week. We got a great swim from our 200 medley relay and Evan really stepped up on the 3-meter! The 800 free relay wasn't what we wanted, but our guys are hungry to come back tomorrow and swim fast!"
-UNLV Head Coach Pat Ota
