LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV Lady Rebels were unable to climb back and fell 77-61 against Colorado State on Wednesday evening at Moby Arena.

The Scarlet & Gray (18-10, 13-5) were led by
Aaliyah Alexander's 18 points and
Meadow Roland's 12th double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Roland also had a team-high five blocked shots, which tied her career-high.

The Rams (22-7, 13-5) had four players in double-digits and were led by Lexus Bargesser's 19 points and Brooke Carlson's 13 points. Bargesser also led CSU in rebounds with nine.

TURNING POINT: After UNLV scored the first basket of the game, CSU scored nine straight points to take a 9-3 lead. However, the Lady Rebels put up five straight points to cut the deficit to one, 9-8. The Rams then hit a three to go up by four, 12-8. Alexander then sank a layup to get the Lady Rebels back within two, but the Rams then went on a 17-2 run to close out the quarter with a 29-12 lead and remained in control.

OTHER NOTES:
- Roland's double-double marked her eighth during conference play.
- Trystan James' tied her career-high in points with seven.
- The Lady Rebels dished nine assists and were led by Roland's three assists.
- The Rams out-rebounded the Lady Rebels 42-35.
- UNLV had six blocked shots compared to CSU's four blocked shots.
- Colorado State had the slight edge in the paint, out-scoring UNLV 24-22 in paint points.
