LOS ANGELES (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's swimming team dropped their final regular season dual meet, 200-61, against No. 15 USC on Friday afternoon at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
THE RUNDOWN MEN:
- Leading the Rebels on the day, senior
Bryson Huey collected an event victory in the 50 free (19.80) and placed second in the 100 free (44.74).
- The Scarlet & Gray 200 medley relay 'A' team of junior
Wikus Potgieter, sophomore
Ty Schneider, redshirt sophomore
Emil Perez and Huey teamed up for a second-place time of 1:26.72.
- Taking a top-3 finish, senior
Tatsuki Inoue earned a second-place finish in the 100 back with a time of 47.61.
- In the 200 fly, redshirt junior
Colby Raffel (1:45.12) and senior
Ian Belflower (1:45.20) placed third and fourth, respectively.
- Junior
Ambrus Barcsak added a third-place finish in the 500 free with a time of 4:29.42.
UP NEXT: The Rebels now look ahead to their conference championships, with the women competing in the Mountain West Championships February 18-21 and the men at the MPSF Championships February 25-28.
