Huey, Belflower Set For NCAA Championships In Atlanta

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's swimming seniors Bryson Huey and Ian Belflower are officially set to represent the Rebels at the 2026 NCAA  Championships from Wednesday-Saturday, March 25-28 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.

Huey is slated to swim in the 50 free, while Belflower is set to compete in the 200 fly.

Originally from Walnut Creek, California, Huey will make his first national championship appearance. He enters the competition ranked 28th in the 50 free (19.02) among competitors scheduled to swim in the event. Huey earned an NCAA qualifying time at the Minnesota Invitational and won the MPSF title in the event to automatically qualify for the Championship.

Belflower, a native of Reno, Nevada, will also make his first national championship appearance. He ranks 34th (1:42.45) among competitors scheduled in the event. Belflower earned his qualifying time by winning gold in the event at the MPSF Championships, while breaking a 35-year-old school record (1:43.45).
