LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field team had seven student-athletes named to the 2026 Mountain West Indoor All-Conference Team.

All-MW honors are awarded to the top-three finishers in each event from the Conference championships, which were held February 26-28 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

Krishna Jayasankar delivered one of the top performances of the meet for UNLV, placing second in the shot put with a personal best throw of 17.09 meters (56-1). The mark remains second all-time in program history. Fellow thrower Amaya Mitchell-Howard bronze in the weight throw by posting a personal best mark of 19.75m (64' 9.5"), moving into fourth all-time in UNLV indoor history.

On the track, Jaci Wright notched a 60m hurdles preliminary time of 8.40 and qualified for the finals by finishing first in her heat before improving upon her preliminary time with a blistering a personal best 8.27, earning second place. The quartet of Kaitlynn Webbe, Aly Winston, Jayda Bushay and Kaelin Gowdy finished second in Heat Two and third overall in the 4x400m Relay with a time of 3:39.02.

NATIONALLY SPEAKING: Jayasankar now ranks 17th in NCAA in the shot put after Saturday's competition, while Mitchell-Howard sits tied for 60th in the weight throw. Additionally, Wright is tied for 64th in the 60m Hurdles.

NEXT TIME OUT: The Rebels will send Sophia Clark and Roxene Simpson to the Beach Opener to kick off the outdoor season, March 6-7 in Long Beach, California.
