LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball program earned recognition from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for its achievements in the classroom during the 2025-26 season, the organization announced Wednesday.

The Runnin' Rebels were honored with the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award as UNLV's roster of 15 student-athletes earned a combined 3.26 grade point average this past academic year. Each year the NABC recognizes teams that earn grade-point averages of 3.0 and higher.

In addition, five UNLV men's basketball student-athletes earned individual accolades from the NABC. Junior Myles Che, junior Jalen Cunninghman, junior Ladji Dembele, senior Al Green, and senior Kimani Hamilton were recipients of the NABC Honors Court award.

To attain NABC Honors Court recognition, student-athletes must have been a junior, senior, or graduate student during the 2025-26 year and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 following the spring 2026 semester.
