Biography
Myles Che is a 6-foot-3-inch, 190-pound point guard from Walnut, California, who transferred to UNLV from UC Irvine where he played as a sophomore last season. He started all 38 games, averaging 12.1 points, 2.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game for the Anteaters, while shooting 40.1% from the floor and 42.9% on 3-pointers. In addition, the All-Big West Honorable Mention honoree made 84.1% of his free-throw attempts.
Che's best performance came in March against UC Davis, when he scored a career-high 31 points on 10 of 11 shooting. His team finished the season 26-5 overall and 16-3 in conference play, advancing to the championship game of the NIT where it lost by a point in overtime.
Che played his freshman year at Chattanooga, where he made 16 starts in 28 appearances and averaged 7.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He totaled 54 assists and 18 steals, while shooting 53.7% from the field.
He played in high school at The Skills Factory in Atlanta, where he averaged 14.5 points and 7.5 assists per game on 52% shooting, including 42% on 3-pointers.
