JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent two seasons at San Joaquin Delta College located in Stockton, CA … Rushed for team-high 1,139 yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore … Earned first team all-conference honors after averaging 113.9 yards per game … Also made 21 receptions for 230 yards and two scores … Rushed for a team-high 401 yards and seven touchdowns as a freshman … Also made nine receptions for 83 yards and two scores.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Kimball HS … Played under coach Steve Anastasio … Lined up at running back, defensive end and wide receiver for the Panthers … Earned first team all-league honors as a senior … Also played basketball and earned second team all-league honors as a senior.

PERSONAL: Evan Zaccheaus Owens was born in Hayward, CA … The son of Kenneth and Jammu Owens … Has two younger siblings: Ethan and Ermari … Majoring in journalism & media studies.
