2026 (Sacramento State - Sophomore): Made 18 appearances on the mound overall, starting seven games… Finished 0-1 with a 3.77 ERA… Struck out 23 hitters in 31.0 innings, holding opponents to a .226 average… Threw a season-high four innings in a start at Pacific (2/25), allowing two runs on four hits and striking out three… Tied that season high with three strikeouts in a start at Creighton (3/29) and against Utah Valley (4/11)… Went at least three innings in four of his seven starts… Longest relief outing was three innings against UMass Lowell (3/10), allowing an unearned run on two hits.

2025 (Sacramento State - Freshman):  Made five relief appearances in his first season as a Hornet… Did not record a decision in 4.2 innings of work, finishing with a 3.86 ERA… Struck out six and walked only two in that span… Opponents hit .222 against him… Made his collegiate debut against San Francisco (2/16), allowing a pair of unearned runs on two hits and striking out two in an inning of work… Also struck out two against Ball State (2/22) in 1.1 shutout innings.

High School: Two-year varsity letter winner for the Crusaders… Finished with a 3.04 ERA over 23 innings of work as a junior, striking out 10… Named a team captain as a senior, earning first-team All-5A South Mountain League, first-team All-Southern Nevada, and Mountain League Pitcher of the Year honors… Finished 6-0 in nine appearances with a 1.42 ERA over 49.1 innings, striking out 49 batters and holding opposing hitters to a .206 average… Helped the Crusaders to a league championship as a senior… Was a Gatorade Player of the Year candidate.

Personal: Parents are Lance Sorlie and Tricia Fontan… Has a brother, Bryce… Member of the honor roll, earned scholar-athlete honors, and was an academic all-conference honoree in high school.
