Biography

UNLV: A summer addition to the roster who will play for his third FBS program as a receiver for the Rebels this fall … Name is pronounced “ja-SIN-toe.”

NEW MEXICO STATE: Spent two years with the Aggies in Las Cruces. 2022: Appeared in the first two games of the season, getting one reception in each. 2021: Saw action in two games, catching nine passes for 95 yards and a touchdown, before suffering a season-ending injury … Hauled in a career-high seven receptions for 64 yards at San Diego State, including a score, in his one start as a junior … Averaged 10.6 yards per catch and 47.5 all-purpose yards.

MISSOURI: Played his first three years at the SEC school where he was recruited to Columbia by then-head coach Barry Odom. 2020: Appeared in four games and caught four passes for 52 yards. 2019: Played in 11 games as a true sophomore and hauled in four catches for 61 yards, averaging 15.2 yards per catch … In Mizzou’s 38-27 Homecoming win over Ole Miss, he posted his first catch of the season, a 26-yard strike that led to a Mizzou score … Had one catch in three consecutive games against Kentucky for 17 yards, at Georgia for six yards and against Florida for 12 yards (11/16). 2018: Became a primary figure down the stretch of his true freshman season as a slot receiver, and ended sixth on the team with 15 receptions that went for 171 yards and two touchdowns … Caught a pair of passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in Mizzou’s Liberty Bowl game against Oklahoma State … Saw his role expand in the second half of the season, and had his biggest output against Vanderbilt, when he caught four passes for 81 yards … The next week at Tennessee, grabbed an eight-yard touchdown … Also returned a pair of punts during the season … Enrolled at Mizzou in January of 2018 and took part in spring camp.

HIGH SCHOOL: A December 2017 graduate of Raytown HS in Missouri … Caught 85 passes for 1,341 yards as a senior, scoring 10 times … Posted 31 catches for 554 yards and eight scores as a junior … Was Raytown’s punt return specialist and also lined up at safety … Finalist for the Otis Taylor Award, which honors the top wide receiver in the Kansas City metropolitan area … Three-star wideout prospect by 247Sports … High school coach was Logan Minnick.

PERSONAL: Dominic Ross Gicinto was born in Kansas City, MO … The son of Anita Gacinto.
