Biography

UNLV: A veteran long snapper who looks to earn the team’s starting job again this fall … An outstanding student who is a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree ... A three-time member of the Academic All-Mountain West Team and a three-time MW Scholar-Athlete (2021-23) … A four-time member of the UNLV Dean’s Honor List.

2024:

  • Appeared in games against San Jose State, UNR and Boise State

2023: Appeared in all 14 games as a long snapper for the Mountain West Regular-Season Co-Champions.

2022: Appeared in 11 of 12 games on special teams serving primarily as the LS on punts.

2021: Earned his first collegiate playing time by taking over for an injured Rex Goossen in Game Nine vs. New Mexico and then ably performing as the team’s long snapper the remainder of the season.

2020: Member of the squad but did not play.

2019: Redshirted season after walking on to the program.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of Bothell HS in Washington … A two-year letterwinner under coach Tom Bainter ... Played center, defensive end and long snapper, helping the Cougars go 8-3 during his junior year in 2017 and 9-3 during his senior season in 2018 ... Named a KingCo 4A First Team center as a senior in 2018 ... Also a four-year letterwinner in wrestling and two-year letterwinner in track and field, competing in the shot put, discus and javelin.

PERSONAL: Walker James Hardan was born in Edmonds, WA ... The son of Casey and Kymberly Hardan ... Has one younger sibling, Addison … Earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing in December 2023 and is now pursuing his graduate certificate.
