Hamga begins his second season in the Runnin' Rebel program in 2008-09 ... had to sit out the 2007-08 season after being granted qualifier status with a restriction by the NCAA ... practiced with the team in 2007-08 and was on scholarship, but could not compete in games ... is eligible to compete in games as a freshman in 2008-09.

Christian School ... averaged 13.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 7.0 blocked shots per game as a senior for the Warriors ... was ranked the No. 5 center in the country in 2007 by Rivals and was a five-star recruit behind former UCLA and current NBA player Kevin Love and three others ... was also the No. 26 overall prospect by Rivals ... coached by Alan Huss ... also played soccer.
