LAS VEGAS, NV - The Rebels were blanked 7-0 by the Cougars.
The loss to the Cougars was a lopsided game. The Cougars dominated the game from the start and continued to the end of the contest. The Rebels record at home is now 4-2. The Rebels season record is now 6-6-1.
The Rebels kept the game close in the first half despite being outplayed in all aspects. The score at the half was 2-0. The second half of the game was a different story. The Cougars scored five goals in the second half, led by Maren Hendershot who had two goals. Kim Lowe for the Cougars recorded one goal and two assists. The Rebels were out shot by a 30 to 7 margin. The Cougars shut down the Reebls limiting them to only seven shots during the whole game.
The Rebels continue conference play this Saturday at home against Utah. The Rebels hit the road for one contest against New Mexico on Wednesday, Oct. 20.
