Ava Droze Signs With Rebel Program

The goalkeeper transfers from Southern

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer program has received a signed commitment from Ava Droze to join the Rebels in 2026, head coach Kacey Bingham announced Monday.

"Ava is a true competitor," said Bingham. "She's someone who will lift our program and push us to improve. She is a great presence in goal and a great shot blocker. We're excited to see what she will do for our program."

A goalkeeper from Cumming, Georgia, Droze transfers to the Rebel program from Southern where she competed as a sophomore this past season. In 12 games with the Jaguars, she made 78 saves, posted an .800 save percentage, contributed to a combined shutout and started nine contests.

Before going to Southern, Droze started all 14 games she appeared in as a freshman at Albany State in 2024. The anchor of the Golden Ram defensive unit, she totaled 145 saves while logging over 1,200 minutes.
