Skylar Cano Joins Women's Soccer Program

The forward transfers from Indiana State

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer program has received a signed commitment from Skylar Cano to join the Rebels in 2026, head coach Kacey Bingham announced Monday.

"Skylar will be another dynamic threat in front of the goal," said Bingham. "She understands positioning and finds herself in the right space at the right time. She's a tremendous finisher and knows how to find the back of the net."

A forward from Newport Beach, California, Cano comes to the Rebel program after playing the 2025 season at Indiana State. She helped the Sycamores finish as the Missouri Valley Conference leader in total goals (43), goals per game (2.15), assists (36) and assists per game (1.8), scoring three goals and adding one assist in 17 games.

Prior to that, Cano spent the 2024 campaign at Utah Valley, where she saw action in four games on a Wolverine squad that won the WAC regular season title.

Additionally, she started her career at Southern Utah in 2023, finishing with two goals in six matches as a freshman.
