The Western Athletic Conference released its annual All-Academic honors for the 1997-98 winter sport season Wednesday. UNLV had 15 student-athletes named to the team from the sports of women's basketball, and men's and women's swimming and diving. To be selected a student-athlete must have completed one academic year, have a 3.2 or better cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. Below is a list of the Rebel student-athletes who earned Academic All-WAC accolades:
