Women's Soccer Falls In Overtime

Albuquerque, NM - The UNLV women's soccer team falls in overtime to New Mexico 3-2. UNLV was down 2-1 when Janae Sims scored the game-tying goal at the 84th minute mark. New Mexico jumped on top early with two goals in the first half from Lana Melendres.

Felicia Madrigal put the Rebels on the board at the 55th minute mark with her third goal of the season. Madrigal's goal snapped the Rebels four-game scoring drought. Daniel Pecastaing scored the game-winning goal for the Lobos at the 102nd minute mark.

UNLV falls to 8-9-1 and will play its final game of the season versus Minnesota on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at New Mexico.
