Golf Falls from Top Spot in Poll

LAS VEGAS - The UNLV golf team fell out of the top spot to fourth in the latest edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings, which was released Wednesday.

Oklahoma State is now the No. 1-ranked team in the nation, followed by Georiga, Clemson, UNLV and Georgia Tech.

Individually, Bryce Molder of Georgia Tech remains the top-ranked golfer. UNLV junior Jeremy Anderson is 10th, while senior Charley Hoffman is ranked 25th.

UNLV finished seventh at the Topy Cup in Japan and eighth at the PING/Golfweek Preview in September. The Rebels will be back in action Oct. 18-19 as they compete in the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate in Birmingham, Ala.
