Zach Little represented UNLV men's golf in the top 30 after Tuesday's final round of The Tindall hosted by Washington at Gold Mountain Golf Club (par 72, 7,179 yards).
REBEL ROUNDUP: Lewis tied for 15th with a 3-under 213 (67-73-73) and Little - who shot par or better all three rounds - tied for 26th at 1-under 215 (71-72-72). Finishing behind them, junior
Ryan Abuan (+2) tied for 37th, junior
Mason Snyder (+6) tied for 60th and senior
Wyatt Plattner (+10) tied for 71st.
On the main course,
Brett Sawaia (+11) tied for 72nd as an individual. Playing as individuals on the Cascade Course, senior
Billy Smith tied for eighth at 3-under 213 (67-74-72) and freshman
Nico Bencomo (+14) finished 28th.
FINAL ROUND: Snyder's team-best 3-under 69 on the day and Little's even-par 72 final round helped move the Rebels up two spots into ninth place in the final team standings at even-par 864.
LEADERBOARD: BYU held on for the team title at 37-under 827 through 54 holes. Maintaining their spot atop the leaderboard, BYU's Peter Kim and Utah's Gabriel Palacios each shot 14-under 202 for individual co-medalist honors. The individual tournament on the Cascade Course was won by Grand Canyon's Erik Rengardt who finished with a 9-under 207.
