Women's Soccer Suffers First Defeat By Western Michigan

Kalamazoo, MI - The UNLV women's soccer team suffered their first loss, a 1-0 decision to the Broncos.

The Rebels played well with solid goalkeeping from Shannon Wilson, but were unable to match the penalty kick goal by the Broncos Brandi Buschhausen.

The Rebels out shot the Broncos by more than a two to one margin, but were unable to get the ball past Jennifer Haller to even the score. Haller was solid in goal with seven saves.

The Rebels drop to 2-1-1 and continue with road games on Sept. 17 at Arizona State and conclude their five game road trip on Sept. 19 against Northern Arizona
