LAS VEGAS - Erin Gibbons scored 17 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range as Utah defeated UNLV 76-46 in a Mountain West Conference women's basketball game Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Amy Ewert added 15 points and eight rebounds, while Lindsay Sodja scored 11 points for Utah (11-4, 2-0 MWC).

UNLV (8-7, 0-2 MWC) was led by Constance Jinks' 20 points.

Utah used a 27-7 run over 12:18 in the second half to take a commanding 63-39 lead with 5:07 to play. The Utes led at halftime 31-25.

UNLV will now hit the road for its first-ever Mountain West road contest. The Lady Rebels will face Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Thursday, Jan. 20, and then travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for a meeting with New Mexico on Saturday, Jan. 22. Both games will tipoff at 6:00 p.m. PST.
