LAS VEGAS - With more than 25,000 people expected to attend Saturday's game between UNLV and UNR, the school has released a list of tips to help avoid traffic delays.

Foremost, fans are urged to arrive as early as possible. Parking lots at Sam Boyd Stadium open at 3:00 p.m., which is four hours before the 7:00 p.m. kickoff.

With construction at the intersection of Russell Road and Boulder Highway forcing traffic into one lane, the best access will be from Tropicana Avenue.

However, alternate routes are available. From Green Valley, fans can take Boulder Highway and turn right on Gibson Road, which will take traffic to Broadbent Road and into the stadium. Fans also can enter east of the stadium. Take Sunset across Boulder, turn left onto Burns and left onto Wiesner Road, which leads behind Sam Boyd.
