CHENEY, Wash. - Linda Fr?hlich's 24 points, six rebounds and seven assists to lead the UNLV women's basketball team to a 81-72 victory over Eastern Washington at Reese Court on Saturday.

The win was perhaps even more special for Lady Rebel head coach Regina Miller, who recorded her 100th career victory. It was her 40th win at UNLV for the Lady Rebels' third-year coach, who also compiled 60 wins in six seasons at Western Illinois.

The Rebels (6-1) jumped out to a seven-point lead by half time and built upon that lead at the start of the second half with a 9-4 run, highlighted by the inside play of freshman Petra Gl?ser who opened the half with six straight points. The Lady Rebels went up by as many as 17 in the half.

The Eagles (3-4) countered with excellent three-point shooting, going 8-for-16 on the night. Jennifer Paluck poured in most of those, going 6-for-9 from behind the arc to lead EWU with 24 points.

Gl?ser fouled out of the game, but not before scoring 17 points, and senior guard Dayna Gambill hit double figures with 12.

Saturday's game concluded a four-game road swing for the Lady Rebels, who will enjoy 10 days of rest before hosting Cal State Northridge at the Thomas & Mack Center on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
