LAS VEGAS - Eleven UNLV football players earned spots on the 90-man Academic All-Mountain West Conference team announced by the league.
To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor.
Air Force Academy garnered the most honorees with 18, while Utah and Wyoming each had 14, followed by BYU (12), UNLV (11), Colorado State (8), New Mexico (7) and San Diego State (6).
