LAS VEGAS - Utah's Tiana Fuertes hit a three-pointer with 14 seconds remaining to lead the Utes to a 67-65 victory over UNLV in the semifinals of the McLeodUSA Mountain West Conference Women's Basketball Tournament.

UNLV (17-12) led by as many as eight points in the second half, but Fuertes hit three three-pointers down the stretch to lead the Utes (22-7) to a come-from-behind win. The Lady Rebels were unable to get a shot off in the game's final 14 seconds.

Utah's defense stifled Linda Fr?hlich, the league's top scorer, holding her to 13 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore Kinesha Davis scored a game-high 23 to go with eight boards and junior guard Dayna Gambill added a career high 15.

The Lady Rebels await Sunday's announcements of both the NCAA Tournament and Women's National Invitation Tournament fields.
