TEMPE, Ariz. - The UNLV Rebel softball team concluded a three-game series with No. 5 Arizona State Sunday with a 3-1 loss. The Rebels fell to the Sundevils yesterday 4-2 and Friday 1-0. UNLV is now 13-17 on the season. ASU improves to 32-5.

Junior Racheal Goodpaster, who went 4 for 9 at the plate this weekend, belted her seventh homerun of the season in the top of the second inning. Nicole Truax, who hurled her third-straight game, held ASU to four runs today and gave up only eight the entire weekend. Truax is now 7-9 on the year.

The Rebels will be back in action March 29th (12 noon) at the Rebel Softball Field to take on No.11 Cal State-Fullerton (24-5) and will open up league play at home on March 31st in a doubleheader against BYU at 12 noon.
