LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV softball team closed out the fall ball slate on Friday, Nov. 7. The Scarlet & Gray played Coalinga College in a single-game, CSU Bakersfield in a doubleheader, local foe CSN in a doubleheader and closed out the final weekend with a Red and Black intrasquad scrimmage.
UNLV welcomed 13 newcomers to the team this offseason, and each saw time on the field during fall ball. The new Rebels include six freshmen: Taryn Calderon, Lauren Fettic, Hailey Gilbertson, Lyla Gonzalez, Brooklyn Heil and Sophie Stockam; three sophomore transfers: Presley Barnes, Reagan Everett and Camryn Johnson; two junior transfers: Rachel Cook and Emma Wardlaw; senior transfer Keyannah Chavez and graduate student transfer Natalie Turner.
