LAS VEGAS - Fans are invited to get a sneak preview of the 2000 UNLV football team by attending a free scrimmage to be held at Sam Boyd Stadium on Aug. 26, the school announced Wednesday.

Head Coach John Robinson's squad will end two weeks of two-a-day practices by holding a controlled intra-squad scrimmage beginning with a warm-up session at 7 p.m. and ending at approximately 8:30 p.m. Parking and admission is free.

Also that night, fans can tune in to a one-hour preseason special on radio station 1460 AM from 8-9 p.m. The show, originating live from the stadium, will include interviews with players and coaches and other special guests. The program will mark the Las Vegas debut of new football play-by-play voice Larry Kahn, who will be joined in the booth by expert analyst Tony Cordasco.
