Women's Soccer Nips Boise State

BOISE, Idaho -The UNLV women's soccer team squeaked past the Boise State Broncos Friday night in a non conference match in Boise, Idaho.

After a scoreless first half, the Broncos got on the board at the 50:22 mark on a 15 yard shot from the right side by midfielder Jamie Nicholsen. The Rebels scored the equalizing goal at 70:25 by junior Janae Sims from junior Robyn Krivacic. Eleven minutes later, the Rebels scored the game winning goal on a 20 yard shot by junior Suzanne Jensen with the assists coming from Sims, and freshman Rachael Buscovich. The Rebels continued to split time in the goal with freshman Heidi Hart starting the game and senior Shannon Wilson finished, picking up her first win of the season.

The Rebels stay in the state of Idaho, traveling to Pocatello for a game with Idaho State (6-1-1) on Sunday at 1:00.
