Jan. 29, 2001

LAS VEGAS - Players and coaches from the UNLV women's basketball team will visit children at the Desert Willow Treatment Center on Tuesday in conjunction with "Pack the Mack 2," a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas.

Viveca L?f and Erin Johansson and the entire coaching staff will speak with children at the treatment center at 10:30 a.m. for about an hour.

"Pack the Mack 2" is a special promotion sponsored in which UNLV hopes to break the school record for attendance at UNLV's game against Wyoming on Saturday, Feb. 3. To encourage attendance, the university has discounted all tickets to Saturday's game to just $2 and will donate $1 for every ticket sold to the Ronald McDonald House, which donates funds, meals and other entities to Desert Willow Treatment Center.
