LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Aaliyah Alexander of the UNLV Lady Rebels has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, the organization announced today. The graduate guard was recognized for her performances in the classroom and on the court for the second straight season.
Alexander, a Federal Way, Washington native, led the squad in assists with 3.25 per game and was the third-leading scorer on the squad averaging 11.3 points per game. In her second season with the Scarlet & Gray, the 5-foot-8 guard played and started all 32 games this season and was second on the squad in three-point percentage (.375). Additionally, Alexander scored a season-high 22 points against Colorado State in the Mountain West Championships semifinals game. Off the court, Alexander will graduate with a Master's of Education degree in Intercollegiate & Professional Sport Management and currently holds a 3.93 GPA.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the Academic All-America ballot, which first-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 15.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.5 grade point average, have participated in 90 percent of the total number of the season's events or must start in at least 66 percent of games played.
