U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - UNLV freshman Patrice Harvey picked up two team points and placed seventh in the pentathlon at the Mountain West Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships at Cadet Field House on Thursday.

Harvey, the Rebels' lone competitor on the first day of competition, scored 3,317 points and finished second in the 60-meter hurdles.

Although BYU's Maret Komarova won the pentathlon with 3,892 points, Utah jumped to the top of the team standings with three scorers in the event.

The conference championships will resume on Friday with both prelims and finals. Finals will be also be held on Saturday in all events not completed on Friday.
