SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The UNLV women's soccer team tied South Carolina, 1-1, in double overtime Sunday afternoon at the San Diego State Tournament in San Diego, Calif.
Junior Cristyn Enea scored her second goal of the weekend at the 18:08 minute mark courtesy of freshman Lindsay Fordon to put the Rebels ahead early in the match.
South Carolina's Becca Epstein found a score 35 seconds before halftime, off a free kick to the right side of the goal from teammate Lydia Bienias, to knot the game at 1-1.
No goals would be made thereafter, which led to the extra periods and eventual draw. This marked the second game of the season to come down to a double overtime tie for the Rebels.
