LAS VEGAS - Senior Linda Fr?hlich (Oldendorf, Germany) showed All-American form by scoring a season-high 37 points to lead the UNLV women's basketball team to a 75-50 conference victory over Air Force, before an all-time school record crowd of 4,626 at the Thomas & Mack Center Thursday night.

Combined with a game-high 12 rebounds, Fr?hlich registered her 12th double-double of the season to catapult the Lady Rebels' to their 15th win of the year. The Mountain West Conference's leading scorer (22.7 ppg) and rebounder (11.2 rpg), Fr?hlich collected a near triple-double with a game-high seven steals. She also came close to breaking her career-high of 40 points.

Junior Constance Jinks (Chicago, Ill.) recorded her 1,000th career point, after sinking in two free throws less than two minutes into the second half of play. Jinks ended the night with 12 points, six assists and five rebounds. She became the 14th women's basketball player in school history to reach 1,000 career points.

UNLV opened the game with a 13-0 run, until Air Force's Kaelin Blunt knocked down a 3-pointer at the 15:39 minute mark. Blunt had a team-leading 11 points for the Falcons. The Lady Rebels (15-3 overall, 3-2 MWC) would convert 33 points off 27 turnovers committed by the Cadets and tied a team season-high with 18 steals. UNLV extends its all-time series record versus Air Force (4-13 overall, 0-4 MWC) to 10-1.

The announced crowd of 4,626, broke an all-time home attendance record of 3,754 set back on March 15, 1985, when UNLV hosted San Diego State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. It was also the largest crowd to watch a UNLV women's basketball game in the Thomas & Mack Center.

The Lady Rebels next host a rematch with league rival New Mexico (15-4 overall, 4-1 MWC) on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7:35 p.m. in the Thomas & Mack Center. The game will be broadcast locally on KENO 1460 AM radio and via an Internet link on unlvrebels.com.
